Easy Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken 


Preparation Time : 30 mins | Cooking Time : 20 Mins |   Serves : 2-3

Ingredients:

Marination:
  • Boneless Chicken breast or thigh 
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt 
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri Chili powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • salt
Gravy TO Grind:
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Onion (medium size)
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 5 - 6 Cashews
Finally in a pan
  • 3-4 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 2 Cardamom
  • 1 tsp Kasoori Methi
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cream (Evaporated milk/Heavy Whipped Cream)
  • 1 tsp Sugar or Honey
  • Salt to Taste

How to make:
  • Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes and pan fry them in oil or butter
  • In the same pan, fry onion, tomatoes and the masala's, allow it to cool and grind the mixture
  • Melt butter and and the whole spices, masala paste and the chicken cook for few minutes, Chicken should be well cooked, break the chicken and see, it should break easily.
    • Finally add Cream and crushed kasoori methi leaves for garnishing
      • Serve with roti, naan and rice.
